• Calculite Evolution 6 Inch Deep Incandescent 120V Non-IC Frame-In Kit features a housing in steel with removable aluminum top cover for top access. Matte black finish. Non-IC designation indicates that insulation must be kept a minimum of 3 inches away from fixture sides and wiring compartments and must not be plaed above fixture in a manner which will entrap heat. Die-cast aluminum mounting frame for dry or plaster ceilings. Precision-tooled steel retaining springs secure reflector trim to mounting frame for quick, tool-less installation. Galvanized steel mounting brackets adjust from inside and outside of fixture. Snap-in connectors are keyed to accept power and socket harnesses which are provided with reflector trim. Galvanized steel junction box is UL listed for maximum of eight No. 12 AWG 90C through branch circuit conductors. Accessible from inside and outside of fixture. Outside J-Box door is hinged for maximum opening. Snap-in plug is provided on inside cover for quick connection to power harness. 1.25 inch maximum ceiling thickness. Ceiling cutout: 6 11/16 inch.
